Antonio DiPaolo of Newtown died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 88.

Antonio was the beloved husband of the late Maria A. Giannini DiPaolo.

Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Edward and Giuseppina Pontarelli DiPaolo, brother of the late Franco DiPaolo and sister of the late Angela Croce.

Antonio was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Newtown in 2003. He retired from Crown, Cork and Seal Company in Philadelphia with over 30 years of service in their manufacturing department. Antonio was a former Communicant of Maternity B.V.M. Church in Philadelphia and St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland before attending the Church of St. Andrew in Newtown. In his leisure, he enjoyed gardening and playing games of chance, especially the lottery. His true joy was the quality times he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Antonio will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Antonio is survived by his children, Antonietta Maria Coletta and her husband Vincenzo of Holland and Anthony DiPaolo and his wife Kathleen of Newtown. He is also survived by his brother Peter DiPaolo of Philadelphia, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday, June 24th from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 followed by his interment in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
