William Frederick Davis of Bensalem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, with his loving family by his side following a brief illness, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 67.

Bill was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Keating Davis. The two would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on June 23rd, 2015.

Born in Dayton, OH he was a son of the late James and Rosetta Havens Davis and brother of the late Bob Davis.

Bill graduated from Northridge High School in Dayton, OH before entering the United States Air Force and served proudly during the Vietnam War. Bill had the chance to travel the world while in the service and it was during this time that he met his beloved wife, Mary Ann.

After settling down in Bensalem, Bill was employed for Reedman Automotive as a salesman and later worked for Bucks County Community College, from where he retired. Bill was a long time parishioner of St. Ephrem Church where he became actively involved in coaching sports. He was also a coach and umpire for Valley Athletic Association for many years. He was devoted to enjoying retirement and filled his time attending sporting events for his grandchildren and getting as much family time as possible.

Perhaps most of all Bill will be remembered for being a hard worker who strived to provide a stable foundation for his family who was the most important thing to him. He was knowledgeable on sports of any kind, enjoyed bowling, and was a generally quiet and mild mannered man. He will be dearly missed as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and “Poppy”.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Bill Davis, Jr. and his wife, Melanie, of Langhorne, Mary Beth Walinskas and her husband, Tim, of Newtown, and Matthew Davis and his wife, Lindsay, of Newtown. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Brynn, Colin and Trevor Davis and Bridget and T.J. Walinskas; his sister, Pam McKenzie and her husband, Don, of Ohio and their family, his sister-in-law, Debbie Davis (wife of the late Bob) and their family; his brothers-in-law, Jack Keating of San Francisco and Jim Geddes (the late Diane Keating Geddes) of Wycombe, PA; and his nieces, Kellyann Rogers (Patrick) and Shannon Geddes and his nephew, Jim Geddes Jr., and countless cousins, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s viewing on Monday June 22, 2015 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020. His interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
