Louis Leporati, Jr., of Holland, PA died on Saturday, June 21st, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 92.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. Caltagirone Leporati.

Born in Philadelphia,PA, Louis was the son of the late Louis, Sr. and Oronio Massunilli Leporati.

Mr. Leporati was a proud Veteran and Purple Heart recipient who answered his country’s call to service during the World War II. Louis entered service with the Navy and became a Submariner. Much later after the war, Louis co-owned and operated Columbia Printing Company in Philadelphia. Louis was a man devoted to his country and to his family and was not afraid to face a challenge. As a headstrong youth, Louis fought to bring down communism and stop atrocities over seas and again later in life as a headstrong man, Louis took exceptional care of his wife who was ailing from the horrible effects of Alzheimer’s disease. He will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.

Louis is survived by his loving and devoted children; Mary Louise O’Keefe and her husband Dr. Gerald of Scottsdale, AZ, and Stephen L. Leporati and his wife Donna of Richboro, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kimberly, Colleen, Jeffrey, and Stephanie, great grandchildren Emily, Claire, Gavin, Lucas, Landon, Eve, and a new great grandchild who is expected in a few days, and his brothers Fred and George Leporati.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, June 26th, from 9:00AM until his Funeral Mass 10:00AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment with Military Honors will be in Washington Crossing National Veterans Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, Robert Morris Bldg. 100 N. 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
