Margaret M. Dunleavy of Richboro died peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 76.
Born in Culcastle Kilmovee Ballaghadreeen Co. Mayo, Ireland. Margaret was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Dunleavy for the past 48 years. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Duffy Regan and sister-in-law of the late James Boyle.
Margaret immigrated to the United States in 1959 and crossed the Atlantic on the SS United States. She has been a resident of Richboro since 1973 and a faithful communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Parish. Margaret was an avid reader, a Phillies fan and recently started to enjoy watching the PGA Golf matches. But what she loved most was being a Grandmother to her 7 devoted grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving and supportive family.
In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by her dear children and their spouses Joseph M. and his wife Tammy, James A. and his wife Mellissa and
John P. and his wife Agnieszka, her 7 devoted grandchildren; Joseph E., Shannon N., Keira, Liam, Regan, Victoria and Olivia, and 1 sister Ann Boyle.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings Tuesday evening June 2, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and to her Funeral Mass 10:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to National Shrine of Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20017.
