William H. Stubbs, Jr., of Holland, PA died peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 in his residence with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was 70.

Bill was the beloved husband of 47 years to Linda Roberts Stubbs.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William H., Sr. and Elizabeth Martisofski Stubbs.

He was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps who served our Country over seas during the Vietnam Conflict. Bill loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all enjoyed time spent with his family. He was a great guy, and will be missed.

In addition to his beloved wife Linda, Bill is survived by his loving children and their spouses; Lisa Gripton and Keith of Levittown and William E. Stubbs and Daniela of Holland. He was also the greatest “Pop” to his grandchildren; Julia and Alison Gripton and Daniel and Hunter Stubbs. He is also survived by his brothers; Thomas, Michael (Susan), Martin, and Edward (Debbie) Stubbs.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 8:30am to 10:15AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow with Marine Corps Funeral Honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 North Lane, Suite 5010, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
