Terry E. Baskin, of Chalfont, PA died on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his home. He was 71.

He was the beloved husband of almost 51 years to Carolyn Richardson Baskin.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Hazel Robinson Baskin, father of the late Jeffrey Baskin and brother of the late Robert Baskin.

He worked at Elkay Manufacturing for 32 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and could fix or build anything. He was a friend to everyone; he would drop everything to help a friend or neighbor in need. He enjoyed his home life and spending time with wife and family. He enjoyed having and playing with his two grandsons. He was a former CB West wrestling standout and enjoyed watching and cheering for his two grandsons in their youth wrestling program.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his daughter Amy Gouge and her husband Trevor of Perkasie, his brother James Baskin and his wife Donna of Perkasie, and his sister Susan Wulf and her husband Russell of Florida. He is also survived by his 2 grandsons; TJ and Kyle Gouge.

Terry’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held for just the family in Beulah Cemetery, New Britain.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 415, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 or to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
