Reiner K. Pohle of Ivyland died suddenly on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 50.

Born in Germany, Reiner was the husband of Stephanie Morris Pohle for the past 24 years; he was the devoted son of Siegfried and Meta Pohle.

Reiner was a resident of Ivyland for most of his life; he was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1983. He worked along side his father and brother in the family masonry contracting business for over 30 years, for the past 3 years Reiner has been a Foreman for Tool Pros of Fairless Hills, PA. He was a man of many talents, and an avid auto enthusiast. He enjoyed and loved the outdoors, especially hunting, quading and all types of Motor Sports.

Reiner had a special talent for growing and developing the coral habitat for salt water tropical fish and building Acrylic Fish Tanks, his expertise in this field gave him the opportunity to appear and participate on the Animal Planet program the “Tanked Show”, and help build huge and exotic Acrylic tanks. He will be sadly missed by his devoted family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Reiner is survived by his dear children; Karl A., Kristopher R., and Anna Lynn Pohle. He is the brother of Uwe Pohle and his wife Cathy, dear uncle of Ashley, Megan and Kyle Pohle.. He is also survived by his Aunt Dora and Uncle Joe Ripp.

Reiner’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday from 3:30 pm until his Funeral Service 6:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. His interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Memorial Fund, 125 South 9th Street, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
