Rose Ann Kelly of New Seasons in Chalfont, PA died on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital, Lansdale. She was 80.
She was the beloved wife of 48 years of the late John Kelly.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Ann Conner Daly and sister of the late Thomas Daly, John Daly and Annie Stanton.
Mrs. Kelly was a resident of New Seasons for the past year and formerly lived in Philadelphia for 48 years. She was employed as a custodian with the Philadelphia School District until her retirement in 1995.
She will be sadly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rosalind A. O’Reilly and her husband, Terence, of Bath, PA and Maura P. McMonagle and her husband, Bill, of Churchville, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Patrick Daly of Huntingdon Valley, PA, her sister, Mary Daly of Philadelphia, PA and six loving grandchildren; Hanna, Jake, Colleen, Kerry, Aileen and Mary Kate.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Wednesday evening, April 29, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, 475 East Chelten Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19144.
