Richard L. Sharp of Langhorne died Friday June 27, 2014 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 73.

Richard was the beloved son of the late Frank Sharp and Martha Coburn and was the step son of the late Les Coburn.

Richard was a former resident of Philadelphia and Holland before moving to Langhorne. He was a graduate of Frankford High School and Temple University in Philadelphia. Richard was a veteran of the US Army and was proud to be affiliated with the Masons. He was a Computer Programmer, specializing in mainframes, who contracted for various firms in the Philadelphia area until his retirement. Richard will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Richard is survived by his children, Stephan Sharp and his girlfriend Denise Bushnell of Hamilton, NJ, Diane Sharp-Nachsin and her husband Ryan Nachsin of Philadelphia and David Sharp and his fiancée Jillian Ernst of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his sister Joan Yuhas of Langhorne and his 2 nieces Brenda Plaff and Wendy Compton.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 11:00am until his Memorial Service 12:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Richard’s interment will be private.
