Barbara Lynn Shaw Severs of Richboro, died peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at her home surrounded by her beloved husband and family after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was 60.

Born in Philadelphia, Barbara was the beloved wife of 32 years to country artist, Les Severs and daughter of the late William Ray and Dolores Spoonhoward Shaw.

Barbara was blessed in many ways, not only did she have a loving husband, her sister and best friend Kathy Rook, her supportive brother-in-law Bill Rook, her 3 nieces and their husbands; Kim Capaldi and Rich, Sheri Omlor and Brian, Tammy Carbone and Kevin were like her children.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Richboro and a member of Addisville Reformed Church. She was a graduate of Council Rock High School class of 1972; she also attended Bucks County Community College. She was a Medical Staff Coordinator for 20 years at Holy Redeemer Hospital, Meadowbrook. For the past 15 years Barbara has been an Executive Assistant at IWCO Direct of Warminster.

She loved all children and animals, especially her dogs. She was an avid reader. She loved spending time at their campsite near the Jersey shore, looked forward to cruises with her husband and extended family. Barbara was known for her ability to be at the right place and the right time to help others. Her kindness never went unnoticed, for which she will always be remembered.

In addition to her husband, sister, brother-in-law and nieces, Barbara is survived by her great nephews, Kyle, Dylan, Connor and Owen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and on Friday at Addisville Reformed Church 945 Second Street Pike Richboro from 10:00 am until her Funeral Services 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park,
