Phyllis J. Grace of Ivyland died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of 60 years to John C. Grace.

Born in Colonial Beach, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Rose Suttle Gordon.

Phyllis was a former resident of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia before moving to Ivyland. She was a dedicated and active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Ivyland and helped as girl scout leader with her children in their youth. Phyllis was an avid seamstress and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by children; John C. Grace Jr. and his wife Mary, Cathy Young and her husband Jeff and Laurie Burns and her husband John. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, Donald Markwith and Howard Gordon and her sister, Mary O’ Berry. Also left to cherish her memory are her 8 grandchildren; Christine, Corrine, Curtis, John III, Jacqueline, Kelli, Bethanne and Lindsay and her 9 great grandchildren Olivia, Charlotte, Hailey, Evan, Gavin, Liam, Eve, Harrison and Jack (John IV).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday, March 30^th from 9:00am to 10:15am followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30am in St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA 18974. Interment for Phyllis will follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting.
