Bethanne Brodie of Richboro went to be with her Lord on June 29, 2014, the day of her 47th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, Bob Brodie. She had just turned 70 years old on June 26th.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry Tyler and Anne Birkenshaw Grace.

Bethanne graduated from Council Rock High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in education from Millersville University.

She spent over twenty five years dedicated to teaching grade school students at several Christian schools. Bethanne took great pride sharing her dedication, love, and faith in God with her students.

Bethanne loved sharing her gift of art and music with her students, family and friends. Bethanne’s greatest love, however, was for her family whom she adored. Her supreme role was as a wife, mother, and grandmother and her good natured and gracious spirit will be missed immensely.

In addition to her husband, Bethanne is survived by her sons, Robert Bruce and his wife, Kirsten, of Jacksonville, NC and Brent Alan and his wife, Jennifer, of Bluffton, SC; her cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lily, and Riley; and her brother, Rev. Harry P. Grace and his wife, Katy, of New York.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Service at 11:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, which is located in the Abington Baptist Church, 1501 Huntingdon Rd., Abington, PA 19001.

Interment will be private.
