John J. Sibel of Fountainville, died on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. He was 73.

Born in Philadelphia, John was the beloved husband of Carol L. Mohr for the past 52 years. He was the son of the late John W. and Sarah R. McNally Sibel and brother of the late James J. Sibel, Sr.

John was a graduate of Neshaminy High School, class of 1961. He worked as a Police Officer for Northampton Township Police Department, Bucks County, he was the founder of Northampton Auto body in Richboro. He was the owner of the Rendezvous restaurant in Milton, PA. In 1976 he became the owner of Churchville Auto Body, on 2nd Street Pike in Southampton, until his retirement in 1999.

John was a member and the former President of the Southampton Businessmen’s Association and gave his support to many local sporting events and charities. In his spare time John looked forward to his trips with his wife Carol in their Motor Coach, traveling throughout the United States and following the NASCAR circuit. At one time he even raced modified stock cars at the former Flemington Speedway. He also enjoyed boating.

John will be sadly missed for his friendship, friendly smile and infectious laugh.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly A. Wolset, his son, Gary J. Sibel and his wife Megan, 2 sisters, Nancy Dougherty and Madelyn Burcaw. He is also survived by 3 dear grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Jonathan and Kelsey.

John’s family will receive condolences on Saturday March 28, from 1:00pm until his Memorial Service 3:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Richard A. Reif Heart Institute at Doylestown Hospital 595 W. State St. Doylestown, PA., 18901 or American Heart Association 5455 H. High St. Columbus, OH 43214.
