Dr. Miroslav Martinovic of Ewing, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 with his loving family by his side in Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA. He was 58.

Born in Serbia, he was the son of Milka Krcmar Martinovic and the late Milutin Martinovic.

Miroslav attained his masters degree at New York University and his doctorate in Computer Science from Belgrade University. Miroslav was a professor of Computer Science at Pace University, Wagner College, and most recently the chair and head of the department at The College of New Jersey. He enjoyed running, soccer, traveling, jazz and classical music, as well as celebrating his Serbian heritage. He also enjoyed watching his daughters playing tennis and performing in piano concerts. Most notably, he was devoted to his family.

In addition to his wife Katya, he will be deeply missed by his three daughters, Anna, Maria, and Sandra Martinovic and his mother, Milka.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:30 AM followed by his funeral service at 12:30 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA, 18954. Miroslav’s interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
