Stanley T. McVaugh of Ivyland, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2015 with his family by his side at his home. He was 88.
Stanley was the beloved husband of Frances Arentzen McVaugh for 24 years and the late Jean Graham McVaugh for 42 years.
Born in Willow Grove, PA he was the son of the late Stanley and Dorothy Dutton McVaugh.
Stanley was a proud veteran of the United States Army Air Force where he served proudly during WW II. Stanley was honorably discharged on October 4, 1946. Following his service in the military, Stanley loved traveling, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife Frances, Stanley will be deeply missed by his four children; Linda Allen and her husband, Thomas, of Lititz, PA, Gary McVaugh, of Dublin, PA, Bruce McVaugh, of Golden, CO, and Susan Siek and her husband Andrew, of Quakertown, PA, his 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also the brother of Nancy Wilson of Willow Grove, PA, and Margie Rowe and her husband Mel, of Boynton Beach, FL.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday evening, February 25 from 6:00-8:00 PM, and on Thursday, February 26 from 9:00 AM until his funeral service 10:00 AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Stanley’s interment will follow, with military honors, in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stanley’s memory may be made to Disabled American Vets, P. O. Box 14301, Cincinatti, OH 45250-0301.
