Catherine F. “Kay” Reis of Lansdale, passed away with her family by her side on February 6, 2015 at her home. She was 80.

She was the beloved wife of Frank C. Reis, Jr. The two would have celebrated their 38^th wedding anniversary on March 31^st.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Bannon) Schillinger.

Born and raised in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, Kay attended St. Hubert’s High School, graduating in 1952. She went on to lead a full career with the former Paramount Packaging in Chalfont, retiring after 22 years.

Kay enjoyed reading and was an excellent cook. In addition, she and her husband very much enjoyed dining out and dancing together. Most importantly Kay was immeasurably devoted to her family and treasured time spent with her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Kay is survived by her children, Linda Scheidler of Lansdale and Kathy Jones and her husband, Bill, of Hatfield; her grandchildren, Kimberly Gokey and her husband, Jon, of Perkiomenville and Billy Jones; and her great-grandchildren, Xander and Dexter Gokey.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday February 10, 2015 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA 19454. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
