Michael Armstrong, of Wrightstown, PA died on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Buckingham Valley Rehab and Nursing Facility with his loving family by his side. He was 77.

He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Shirley “Val” V. May Armstrong.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John Cornelius and Lilliane JoAnne Cogar Armstrong. He was the father of the late Jon David, brother of the late Patrick, and brother in law of the late Lillian.

Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served for three years in Hawaii, before Hawaii even became a state. He was honorably discharged on December 19, 1960 after attaining the rank of Sp4. He spent the majority of his career working with Boeing of Ridley Park as a Computer Analyst, until his retirement in 1995.

In addition to his beloved wife Shirley, Michael is survived by his daughter Kathi Ann Reedman and her husband Ralph R. of Wrightstown, PA. He is the brother of Daniel, of Florida, Cornelia Pratt and her husband Ron, of Ohio, Joan Smith Plano and her husband Gary, of New York. He will also be deeply missed by several uncles and aunts, including his very special aunt Rebecca Whittington and her husband Bill of Chalfont, PA.

Funeral Services and interment for Michael will be held at a later date.
