Joan L. Petzold, of Bensalem and formerly of Holland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was 85.

Joan was the beloved wife of 67 years to Carl F. Petzold.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ann Simon Reichert and the sister of the late Anne Scharfenberger and Louis Reichert.

Joan worked for ACME Markets for many years up until her retirement in 1992. In her leisure, Joan enjoyed playing the Organ, Tap Dancing, shopping, and traveling on Cruise Ships to exciting destinations. She was a lover of animals, but she shared no greater love than the love she showed to her family. Joan will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her four loving Sons; Carl L. (Patricia), Michael (Karen), James (MaryKay), and Christopher Petzold (Kathy Liss). She is also survived by her brother William D. Phillips (Carol), 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, February 4th from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 11:00AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.
