Robert A. Romano of Churchville died Monday, January 12, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook surrounded by his loving family. He was 93.

         Robert was the beloved husband of the late Ethella Louisa Reiff Romano.

         Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Raphael and Marie Grace Romano.

         Robert was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Churchville in 1959. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #161 and had worked for various transportation companies throughout his career. Robert was devoted to his Catholic faith and was a Communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro. In addition, he was a 4^th Degree Knight with the Raymond V. Hennessey Knights of Columbus Council #6145 in Newtown and also was a 50 plus year member of the Men of Malvern. He will be remembered for his musical talent both vocally and instrumentally.

         Robert is survived by his children; Monica Romano and her husband Phillip Wilson of Tampa, FL, Kathleen Wagner and her husband Larry of New Market, MD, Patricia Romano of Churchville, Bruce Romano and his wife Dawn of Bensalem, Janeen McCann and her husband Ed of Perkasie and Brian Romano and his wife Terri of Warrington. He is also survived by his sister Virginia Gomeringer of Philadelphia, his brother Anthony Spallone of Palm Coast, FL, his 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 great-grandchild-to-be.

         Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, January 16, 2015 from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass 10:30am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Robert’s interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
