          Vincent C. Calvanese of Doylestown went home to Jesus after a long battle with cancer on Friday, January 9, 2015, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 75.

          Born in Philadelphia, Vincent was the beloved husband of Margaret Koppi Calvanese for the past 52   years. He was the son of the late Vincent and Mary Notarianni Calvanese and devoted father of the late Jennifer Calvanese.

          Vince was resident of Bucks County for the past 40 years having lived in Churchville for over 30 years before moving to Doylestown 10 years ago. He was a proud member of the first graduating class of Father Judge High School, class of 1957. Vince served proudly in the United States Army for 2 years. A man of many talents Vince spent most of his career as a barber with his shop in Feasterville, retiring in 2013. He also was the former owner of several restaurants, delicatessen and catering services in the Bucks County and Philadelphia area.

          He thoroughly enjoyed being with people and talking about sports; especially Philadelphia sports teams, and the New York Yankees. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.

          In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his dear children and their spouses; Janine Leffel of Jupiter FL, Meg Swiggard and her husband Chris of New Britain, Vincent Calvanese and his wife Jennifer of Castle Rock, CO, he is also survived by his brother Louis Calvanese and his wife Judy and a sister Marie Calvanese. And the proud grandfather of Christopher, Danny, Gianna, Adelina, Lucia and Franca.

          Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday January 15, 2015 from 9:00am until his funeral service 10:00 am at Calvary Chapel-Central Bucks, 150 E. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA. 18914. Interment with Military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
