Mark Owen Lamon of Holland died Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was 58.
Mark was the beloved husband of 22 years to Lee Ann Dittemore Lamon.
Born in Watertown, New York, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Marion Walrath Lamon.
He was a graduate of Syracuse University and received his Masters Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Mark had a distinguished career with Bristol Myers Squibb with 35 years of dedicated service with his last position being the Director of Hosting Operations (Information Technology) in Hopewell, NJ. He was a former Volunteer Fireman with the Dexter Volunteer Fire Department in Dexter, New York, Clay, New York and also with the Northampton Township Fire Department in Richboro. In his leisure, he enjoyed coaching multiple sports teams in Northampton Township, vacationing on the St. Lawrence River and playing golf. He was also an avid woodworker. Mark will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his wife Lee Ann, Mark is survived by his children, Kristen Lamon Marks and her husband Dave of Skaneateles, New York and Haley, Sarah and Kyle Lamon, all of Holland. He is also survived by his sisters Michelle Adams and her husband Herb of Fredonia, KS, Diane Lamon, Anita DeVito and her husband Mark and Rae Lee Lamon, all of Dexter, New York.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 1:00pm until his Memorial Service 2:30pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Mark’s interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark’s memory may be made to the Northampton Township Fire Department, 50 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954 or the Dexter Volunteer Fire Department, 100 Canal Street, Dexter, NY 13634.
