Carmela Rose DeLuca, of Langhorne, PA died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at St. Mary Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was 85.

      Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Bucks County for the past 35 years.

      She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline DeRocco Gregory, mother of the late Gregory P. DeLuca and sister of the late Doris Mitchell.

      She is survived by her children Vincent G. and Joni DeLuca of Ivyland, James A. and Joancarol DeLuca of Langhorne, Cynthia A. and Anthony R. Geonnotti Jr. of Langhorne, and Joseph A. and Rita DeLuca of Langhorne, and her sister Rose Goldstein of New Hope. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren; Kathryn and Jeremy Benza, Matthew and Jami DeLuca, Kevin DeLuca, Nicholas DeLuca, Christopher DeLuca, James DeLuca, Andrew DeLuca, Gregory DeLuca, Anthony and Kristin Geonnotti, Kristina and Todd Wengert, Justin and Carolyn Geonnotti, Alexander Geonnotti, Arriel DeLuca and her fiancé Bill Mecca, Joseph DeLuca, Alyssa DeLuca, Ashlee DeLuca and her 9 great-grandchildren William and Anna Geonnotti, Madison and Todd Jr. Wengert, Daniel and Riley Benza, Anthony, Patrick, and Grace DeLuca.

      Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:30 am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

      In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carmela’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
