Carol A. Eddy of North Wales died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Abington Lansdale Hospital. She was 70.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Eddy, Jr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Dittrich.

Carol was a former resident of Philadelphia and Dresher before moving to North Wales. She received her Undergraduate and Masters Degrees from Gywnedd Mercy College and had worked as Medical Technologist for 30 years with Merck Pharmaceutical until her retirement. Carol was a devoted and faithful communicant of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales and served as their Funeral Coordinator. In her early years, she enjoyed skiing with her late husband Alfred and spending time outdoors and fishing. Carol will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Carol is survived by her sister, Joan Caputo and her husband Joseph of Warminster, her nephew John Caputo and his wife Veronica and her 2 great nephews Antonio and Victor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, January 2, 2015 from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 10:00am in Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454.

Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the above named church or to a charity of a donor’s choice.
