John W. “Jack” Turner, of Churchville, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Crestview Center in Langhorne. He was 91.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Florence Gross Turner.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mabel Turner.

Jack was a resident of Churchville for 37 years. He retired after 41 years of service as an industrial engineer at Dodge Steel. Jack attended Temple University, and proudly served our country during World War II in the U.S. Army.

A beach lover, Jack and his family had a shore house at Long Beach Island, where they spent their vacations for over 27 years. He also enjoyed traveling, and had the opportunity to visit much of the USA, Canada and Europe. In his leisure time, he loved to read and play golf.

Jack will be remembered as a calm, easy going guy with a sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be missed.
