Thomas M. Stepek of Holland died peacefully on July 11, 2014 with his family by his side at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. He was 30 years old.

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania he was the beloved son of Michael and Maureen Robinson Stepek.

Tom was a resident of Holland and Philadelphia. He graduated Council Rock High School with the class of 2002 and attended Bucks County Community College and Bloomsburg and Temple Universities.

Known by family and friends as “Chef Tom”, he was employed as a cook and sous chef with several fine restaurants in Center City, Philadelphia.

Cooking was Tom's passion, but he also enjoyed swimming, cycling, golf and days on the beach in Cape May. All who knew Tom will remember him for his sense of humor, courage, and positive attitude. His loss will be deeply felt.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Annemarie Bottino and her husband, Joseph, Michael Stepek, Jr. and his wife, Judi, Brian Stepek and his wife, Annika, Anthony Stepek and his wife, Natalie, and Mary Fran Riffel and her husband, Brock. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Clare Welsh Robinson and his nine adoring nieces and nephews, as well as countless extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening, July 14 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and to his Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30 am at the Church of St. Andrew 81 Swamp Road Newtown. There will be no morning calling hours. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's honor may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, “Support Our Strength Fund” at 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.
