Kong Han Liem M.D., of Warminster passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 85.

         He was born in Indonesia as the youngest of 10 children of Soen Lian Liem and Tio Pat Nio and emigrated to the US in 1968. Han is the beloved husband of 54 years to Frieda Liem.

         His hobbies included painting, piano playing and model ship building. He was a member of the “2^nd Time Around” band at Ann’s Choice where he was the pianist. Throughout his lifetime, he loved to travel and visited China, Bermuda, France, Holland, Indonesia, and Singapore. Han also worked many years as a Psychiatrist at the VA hospital in Philadelphia.

         In addition to his beloved wife Frieda, Han is survived by his three daughters: Marina Liem and her husband Alex Cannon, Kristina Granor, and Elizabeth Gross and her husband Craig. Han was also the proud grandfather of four: Erica and Rachel Granor and Daniel and Corey Gross.

         Relatives and friends are invited to Han’s viewing on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM until his funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Chapel at Ann’s Choice, 30000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974 with reception to follow. His interment will be held privately at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
