     Douglas A. Fisk of Richboro passed unexpectedly due to medical complications on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his residence with his beloved wife of 54 years Joyce Karschner Fisk by his side. Doug was 75.

     Doug was the father of the late Craig A. Fisk.                    

     Born in Sayre, PA, he was the son of the late Bradley and Florence Huffman Fisk.                                                                                                         

     Doug was employed by American Meter Company for 43 years climbing from entry level bookkeeper to the eventual position of Director of Accounting/Tax/Insurance the position he eventually retired from. After retiring, Doug devoted his expertise and most of his time being a key factor in the daily operations of his son's business including all financial aspects, purchasing, quality control and production.

     Doug was a faithful and devoted volunteer firefighter for the Wyalusing Valley Fire Department for many years before moving away for work and then serving in the Northampton Township Fire Department’s Fire Police Division. In addition to his Fire Department membership, Doug was also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Wyalusing Lodge #618, Southampton Square Club and REACT emergency communications.

     In his leisure, he enjoyed exploring the country with his wife in their motor home, enjoying his mountain property, fishing, competing with friends and family in Disc Golf, operating and repairing of RC Airplanes, and above all creating the cherished memories with his family who were simply the essence of his being. Doug will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.

     In addition to his wife Joyce, Doug is survived by his loving and devoted children; Kevin M. Rosencrance and his wife Gale of Furlong, Jill A. Johnson of Tully, NY, and Daniel J. Fisk and his wife Diane of Richboro. He is also survived by his brother Walter Fisk, two sisters Shirley Poletto and Sharon Cavallo, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

     Services will be conducted privately at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home immediately followed by interment at Union Cemetery in Richboro, PA.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd. Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 or to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43214.
