Kathleen Jolly of Yardley, died peacefully on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at Attleboro Nursing Home. She was 89.
She was the beloved wife of the late Stuart T. Jolly.
Born in Bournemouth, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Martin.
Mrs. Jolly and her husband Stuart were proud veterans of the British Army and served their country as Radar Mechanics during World War 2. She was employed for over 15 years with Educational Testing Services in Princeton, NJ as the Supervisor of candidate relations. Kathleen always enjoyed helping and socializing with people. She was extremely active with Meals on Wheels at Pennswood Village and the Women’s Exchange at St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Yardley.
Kathleen will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure to come to know and love her, and call her Mom and Grandmom.
She is survived by her loving children Stuart M. Jolly of Columbia, MD, Michael A. Jolly (Debbie) of Chester, PA, Elizabeth A. Jolly-Roberts (Teddy) of Yellow Springs, PA, and Patricia J. Davis (Jeffrey) of Yardley, PA. Thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 4:00PM from Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1700 Makefield Rd. Yardley, PA 19067. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers contributions in he memory may be made to Woodside Meals on Wheels, c/o 1382 Newtown-Langhorne Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.
