Warren H. Kiesel of Maple Glen died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.
Warren was the beloved husband of 41 years to Dorothy L. Bartol Kiesel.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Herman and Rose Schiile Kiesel and the brother of the late Thomas Kiesel.
Warren was a former resident of Northeast Philadelphia before moving to Maple Glen in 1980. He had worked for over 30 years with Honeywell and retired as Supervisor in 1984. He was a proud veteran of US Air Force and the US Coast Guard serving during World War II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Warren was an avid reader, enjoyed working on various projects at his house and was a lover of animals. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew him.
In addition to his beloved wife Dorothy, Warren is survived by his two sisters, Dolores Kubiak of Trenton, NJ and Dotti Dorell of Lincoln, DE. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday, January 17, 2011 from 8:30am until his Funeral Service 9:30am from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Guardians of the National Cemetery P. O. Box 233 Newtown PA 18940.
