Henrietta A. Finnegan of Hilltown died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 83.
Henrietta was the beloved wife of 66 years to John J. Finnegan.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Alice Hemingsley Plum.
Henrietta was a former resident of New Britain Borough for 38 years before moving to Hilltown in 2002. For many years, she was a receptionist with Sylvan Pools in Doylestown. Henrietta was an avid painter of oil, acrylic and water-colors. She was a member of the Doylestown Art League, the Ladies of St. Jude Church and Senior’s at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Hilltown.
In addition to her beloved husband John, Henrietta is survived by her dearest children and their spouses, Jack and Susan Finnegan of Perkiomenville, PA, Kathy and John Arzberger of Chalfont and Colleen Finnegan Gross and her husband Bruce of Warminster. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 7-9pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 152 and Broad St., Hilltown, PA 18927. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery.
