Loraine Maeyer Burger, of Newtown and formerly of Holland, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at Chandler Hall Friends Health Care in Newtown, PA. She was 91
She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Samuel H. Burger.
Born in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the Charles and Alverta Bennedict Maeyer, and mother of the late Michele Siravo.
Mrs. Burger was employed in the Medical Transcription field for over 20 years. In addition to her husband and family her next greatest joy and pleasure in life was her ability and talent for dancing. Loraine also enjoyed cooking many meals for her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.
Loraine is survived by her loving daughter Barbara J. Hecht of Holland, PA and her grandson Steven and his wife Jodie. She is also survived by 3 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great grand child.
Services and Interment will be privately conducted.
