“Ronnie” Veronica M. Scholl died peacefully on Wednesday, evening February 16, 2011 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown after a nearly two year battle with brain cancer. She was 57.
Ronnie was the beloved wife of 33 years to Jon R. Scholl.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel C. and Magdalene Hill Neiman.
Ronnie attended Saint Leonard’s Academy and graduated from Drexel University in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in home economics. She later moved to Bucks County where she lived for the last 28 years.
A devoted wife and mother, Ronnie dedicated her life to her family. She lived each day for her husband and her three daughters, working selflessly to find happiness through their own successes. An animated story teller and captivating people-person, Ronnie was a magnet for charisma and was constantly surrounded by friends, laughs, and smiles. She infused life with vibrant memories, dance routines, and motivating stories that detailed her great wisdom. Ronnie loved to travel and had an impeccable memory, great sense of style, and a passion for Christmas. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband Jon, Ronnie is survived by her three daughters, Jessica, Jaclyn and Samantha Scholl, all of Richboro, her sisters and brothers, Charles (Lorraine) Neiman of Sarasota, FL , the late Robert Neiman and his wife Anna Marie Neiman of Deerfield Beach, FL, Regina Hatcher of Philadelphia, William (Carol) Neiman of Penndel, Cecilia (Jack) Heller of Berlin, NJ. Also survived by her three aunts, Veronica Hill, Sister Magdelaine Hill, O.P. and Sister Joan Mary Hill, S.N.D., her niece and caretaker Maria Martin and her husband James of Levittown along with additional nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
