Irmtraud “Trudy” Giacomelli, of New Britain, PA died on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 80.
She was the beloved wife of 35 years to Louis Giacomelli.
Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Anna Koenecke.
She is also survived by her sister, Gisela Janowski of Hanover, Germany.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 12:00 PM until her Funeral Service 1:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 East Butler Ave. (Route 202 & Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
