Steven W. Wood of Langhorne died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 60.
Steven was the beloved husband to Lynn R. Brictson Wood for 25 years.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Steven was the son of the late Robert and Alma Garrison Wood.
Steven was a former resident of Pittsburgh before moving to Langhorne in 1985. He was the Vice President and Manager working in Pittsburgh and was relocated to Philadelphia with Oliver Reality which eventually became known as Grubb/Ellis in Philadelphia. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during Vietnam. Steve enjoyed playing golf and vacationing with Lynn to Alaska and various other places of interest. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his beloved wife Lynn, Steve is survived by his brother James Wood and his niece Katie of both of Pittsburgh.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 23, 2011 from 12:30pm until his Funeral Service 1:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
