Elnora "Ellie" Mae Vail, of Richboro, PA died on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Pickering Manor. She was 91.
Born in Dalton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Davenport Ross.
Ellie was a resident of Richboro, PA for over 30 years, having moved from Clark Summit. Living with her daughter and family she enjoyed the time she had with her grandchildren as they were growing up, and was fortunate to also enjoy many hours with her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time working in her flower gardens and loved to bowl and was active in a league for many years.
She is survived by her children Sandra and David Parry of Richboro, Frazier "Fritz" Vail of Apalachin, NY, her sisters Jean Rounds of Tingley Lake, PA, Betsy Delevan of New Hampshire, Gayle Lent of State College, PA, and her sister-in-law Velma Ross of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sharon Russo, Frazier "Fritz" and Brian Vail, Stacey Talotta, David and Dan Parry and great grandchildren Robert and Renee Scarinzi, Richelle, Frankie, Vinnie, and Tommy Russo, Benjamin and Gregory Talotta, and Ashley, Ryan, and Tyler Parry.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 10:30 am until her Memorial Service 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Nesquehoning, 152 West High Street, Nesquehoning, PA 18240. Her interment will be held privately in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton, PA.
