Carolyn E. Brady of Chalfont died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 66.

Carolyn was the beloved wife of 42 years to William A. Brady.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Greim Butz.

Carolyn was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Chalfont in 1976. She had worked with Associates in Hearing in Lansdale as an Office Manager for over 20 years. Carolyn was a Communicant and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Hilltown. She enjoyed traveling and shopping for her two cherished grandchildren. Carolyn will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her
.
In addition to her beloved husband William, Carolyn is survived by her dearest daughters and their husbands, Colleen B. and Mark Nicholson of Chalfont and Karen B. and Christian Graham of Cary, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine LaMarche of Buckingham, her brother William “Buddy” Butz of Philadelphia and her 2 grandchildren, Cassidy Nicholson and Kennedy Graham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 7-9pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Route 152 and Broad St., Hilltown, PA 18927. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann in Chalfont, PA .

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to support NF research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Donations should be directed to Gia Soto, Program Coordinator, Division of Oncology, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3501 Civic Center Blvd., 4 Floor 4027A CTRB, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
