Paul J. Goodman, Sr., of Warminster, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at his residence. He was 82.

He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Rose Hardock Goodman. Born in Atlantic City NJ, he was the son of the late George L. and Mary Schoenfielder Goodman and grandfather of the late Samuel and Genevieve Goodman.

Paul was a resident of Warminster for the past 48 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. Paul retired in 1994,after over 45 years, with the 7 UP Bottling Company of Philadelphia as a Tractor Trailer operator. Paul was the past President of the Bustleton Boys Club, and for many years he coached baseball and basketball. An avid sports fan he looked forward to watching his Philadelphia teams. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Paul J. Goodman, Jr. and his wife Patricia M. of Williamstown NJ, his sister Doris Selke of Philadelphia, and his 2 dear granddaughters; Sonnet Noelle and Jessica Rose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday March 28, from 9:30 am until his Funeral Service 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Paul’s Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
