Laura A. Menditto of Newtown passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She was 55.

She was the wife of the late Anthony Menditto.

Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Bertha Kuczewski DiGuglielmo.

Laura was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia and continued her studies at the former Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, graduating Cum Laude. She went on to earn her M.B.A. from Philadelphia University in 1995 and her Masters in Public Health from Drexel University in 1999.

Laura led an accomplished career in health outcomes research and was employed by several pharmaceutical companies, before branching out on her own with her consulting business. Her work in the industry led to over 40 peer reviewed presentations at scientific meetings and numerous professional journal publications.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Laura enjoyed line dancing and loved to travel all over the world. She most especially enjoyed the numerous trips to Ocean City, NJ with her family and her "adventures" with her grandson Ben. She adored all of her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who came to know and love her.

Surviving are her son, Jeff Antell and his wife, Jaime, of Langhorne and her stepchildren Jill, Allison and Tom; her brother, Frank DiGuglielmo and his wife, Nancy, of Somerdale, NJ, and her sister Mary Kraus and her husband, John, of Wallingford, PA. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Ben, Chase, and Taylor; and countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday August 6, 2014 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
