Marie A. Ostrowski Hampton, of Holland, PA and formerly of Warminster, Hulmeville and Bristol, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 82.

She was the beloved wife of Elmer C. Hampton for 62 Years.

Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Closkey Ostrowski, sister of the late Edward and Frank Ostrowski, Helen Coburn, Katherine Dixon, Teresa Sloskey, and grandmother of the late Douglas and Lisa Borenstein.

Mrs. Hampton enjoyed reading, trips to Atlantic City, Tai Chi and most of all spending quality times with her dear friends and family. She was passionate about her family and friends and her gift to all was her deep spirituality.

In addition to her beloved husband Elmer, she is survived by her five loving children; Frank Hampton and his wife, Eileen, of Cranbury, NJ, Virginia Borenstein and her husband, Richard, of Yorktown, VA, Joanne Carpenter and her husband, Charles, of Chalfont, PA, Thomas Hampton and his wife, Rosemary, of Doylestown, PA, and Nancie Miller and her husband, John, of Chalfont, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Ostrowski and her 8 grandchildren Jaclyn Colfer (Joseph), Michael Hampton (Kimberly), Diane Hampton, Jeffrey Borenstein (Sarah), Gregory Borenstein, Charles Carpenter (Kristen), Christine Wichner (Joseph), and Rebecca Carpenter and her 5 great grandchildren Luke, Benjamin, Lillian, Adeline, and Justin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing this evening, May 1, 2011, from 6:00 — 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and on Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954 from 10:00 am until her Concelebrated Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to advance research of JMML, an extremely rare form of Leukemia to: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Oncology Department, 34th St. and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
