Doris S. Ketterer (Steinmetz)
Doris S. Steinmetz Ketterer, of Holland, PA died peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 86.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. Ketterer Jr.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Tennyson and Cora Dalby Steinmetz.
Mrs. Ketterer worked with ASI in Trevose, PA for over 18 years. Since her retirement Doris enjoyed volunteering at both the Northampton Township Free Library and the Spruance Library in Doylestown and spending time with her family and friends. Doris will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.
Doris is survived by her five loving children; Christopher T. Ketterer and his wife Carol of Hershey, Eric S. Ketterer and his wife Marjorie of Richboro, Andrew N. Ketterer and his wife Tracey of Doylestown, Jeffrey M. Ketterer of Holland, and Susan D. Caton of New Hope. She is also survived by her 9 dear grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday Evening, May 4, 2011, from 6:00 — 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.
Interment will be privately conducted at Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Chandler Hall’s Adult Day Program, 99 Barclay St. Newtown, PA 18940.
