Mary R. English of Ship Bottom, NJ died on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. She was 68.

She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Edward English.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Christina Spillman Bastian.

In addition to her beloved husband, Mary is survived by her loving children, Daniel English and his wife Christina, Joseph English and his wife Melissa,, her 3 sisters, Christina Fife, Barbara Bieg and her husband Bernard, and Lynn Monahan and her husband James, and her brother, Mark Bastian and his wife Paula.. She is also survived by her 5 dear grandchildren; Gregory, Ali, Timothy, Isabella, and Sabrina.

Mary’s family will receive condolences on Friday, August 15, 2014, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
