Rosemary “Rose” E. Conn, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne surrounded by her loving family. She was 67.
Rose was the devoted wife of 46 years to Lamar “Chuck” R. Conn.
Born in Philadelphia, Rose was a resident of Yardley the last 40 years.
Rose loved people. She enjoyed party planning, DIY projects, traveling with friends, her garden and the beach. She was a very creative person who was extremely giving to all around her. An advocate of child and animal welfare, her home was always open to stray animals and stray kids.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and by all who were lucky enough to meet her.
In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her mother, Eleanore Whelan of Levittown, her daughters, Donna Amos and partner Ed Hauck of Bucks Co., Victoria Conn and son-in-law Ted Pantle of Wilmington, DE. Also survived by her two brothers, Arthur Simon of Southampton and Jimmie Whelan of Levittown and her cherished grandchildren, Jacklyn, Jessica, Zachary and Olivia. Rose was mother of the late Paul D. Conn and sister of the late Lauren Whelan.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday evening, May 9, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 Sycamore St. Newtown, PA 18940 from10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am. Interment will follow at the adjoining Parish Cemetery.
