Cora Cross Strattan of North Wales, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 74.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Strattan.

Born in Ausable Forks, NY, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Elizabeth Martin Cross and grandmother of the late Lisa Spangler.

Mrs. Strattan was a resident of Village of Neshaminy Falls in North Wales for the past 30 years. Before her retirement, she was employed by Harriet Carter Co. working in the mail room for 15 years. Cora was family oriented and enjoyed the special times spent with her family. She will be sadly missed as a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Kuhnle and her husband, Garry, of Chalfont, PA, her companion of 25 years, Robert Sandrock of North Wales, her step-daughter, Sandra Spangler of Erie, PA and her step-son, Stephen Strattan of Clarion, PA. She is also survived by her three sisters, Virginia Jones of Eva Beach, HI, Nona Hoskins and her husband, Bruce, of Westport, NY, Peggy Gordon and her husband, Dale, of Peru, NY, one brother, Christopher Cross and his wife, Linda, of Huntersville, NC and her 7 loving grandchildren; Matthew Kuhnle who along with his mother was a dedicated and primary caregiver throughout Cora’s illness, Cindy Russo (Mario), Patrice Carelli (Shawn), Valerie Rowan (Mike), Michael Strattan, Michelle Callahan (Charlie) and Jeff Spangler.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 9, 2011, from 12:00 PM until her Funeral Service 1:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Doylestown Hospice, 595 W. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 or Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
