Carol Ann Pietrowski DeCosta, of Southampton, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Holy Redeemer Hospice, Meadowbrook.
She was 68.

She was the beloved wife of 52 years to William S. DeCosta. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Annrita Gerner Pietrowski.
Carol was a resident of Southampton for the past 20 years; she was a graduate of Nativity Business school, class of 1958. Carol’s professional career spanned over 50 years, she worked for Pomco Graphics in Philadelphia as a secretary and proof reader until her retirement in 2009.

Carol’s first love was her family and especially her grandchildren, she also liked to travel and enjoyed her many trips to Myrtle Beach. Carol was a wiz at game shows and looked forward to watching them on TV. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is also survived by her loving children; Debbie A. Covelusky and her husband Michael , Cherie Leadley and her husband Thomas, Edward DeCosta and his fiance Nicole Fedak, her 2 sisters, Donna Cichonski and her husband Ronald and Arlene Gallagher. She was the dearest grandmother of; Michael Covelusky, Kelly, Thomas and Christina Leadley, Melissa Covelusky, Savanna and Hunter O'Neill and 2 great grandchildren; Alexis Hagerty and Jadalyn Covelusky.

Carol’s family will receive condolence on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro and to interment at Union Cemetery, Richboro.
