Elaine G. Seiger Poserina, of Newtown, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Spring Village of Floral Vale in Yardley. She was 82.

She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Late Joseph J. Poserina, Sr. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Engle Seiger and mother of the late Barbara E. Poserina.

Elaine was a resident of Newtown for the past 25 years; she was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls, class of 1946. Elaine retired from Thiokol Corporation, Newtown where she worked in the Tax Department for many years before her retirement.

Elaine was a woman of many talents; see loved working in her garden and seeing all of nature at its best, a wiz with a needle her counted crosstitch was envied by all. Her family came first, and her love of reading, always kept her well informed. She will be sadly missed by all who had the fortune to meet her.

Elaine is survived by her caring son and daughter; Joseph J. Poserina Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Langhorne and Karen A. Poserina-Lohr and her husband, Garth Lohr, of Langhorne, she is also survived by her 6 devoted grandchildren, Erin, Ryan & Shannon Poserina, Kelsey & Jesse Lohr and Christopher Shemeley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday, May 16, 2011 from 9:00 am until her Funeral Service 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.( at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
