Helen Reinhold Preston, of Trevose, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at St. Mary Medical Center Langhorne, PA. She was 79.

She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Edward L. Preston.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Malinowski Reinhold and sister of the late Dorothy McInerney.

Mrs. Preston was elected to many offices throughout her tenure with the IBEW Local 1944 Telephone Operators Union which include serving as President. Since her retirement in 1995 from Bell of Pennsylvania, Helen has enjoyed playing cards and bingo with friends and also traveling with her family and friends. Helen will be sorely missed as a loving mother and grandmother, and devoted friend.

Helen is survived by her caring son and daughter-in-law Robert and Rene Preston of Jamison, PA, her sister Carol Reich and her brother Charles Reinhold and his wife Carole. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Nicholas, Anthony, Vincent, and Devon Marie and also her close friend and companion Chris Reich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9:00 am until her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.( at Holland Rd.) Richboro.

Interment will be on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 10:00AM at Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ.
