Ryan W. McMullen of Chalfont, PA died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Doylestown Hospital. He was born on July 6, 1983 and was 27 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the dearly loved son of John C. and Kathleen (Coleman) McMullen.

Ryan was a resident of Chalfont for the past 11 years, having formerly lived in Philadelphia. He was a graduate of the Glen Mills School where he was a medal winner on the swim team. He was a baker at Manhattan Bagel in Chalfont where he loved creating special varieties of baked goods. Ryan had great eye hand coordination and was a wiz at video games of all kinds. Ryan was a kind and gentle soul who loved nothing more than sitting with his niece Bronwen and his nephew Liam and watching old cartoons that he loved when he was a child. Another favorite thing to do was help them find their way to the next level in a Mario or Lego video game. He had many peaks and valleys in his life and his loving smile and gentle heart will be deeply missed.

Ryan will be forever remembered by his loyal sisters, Jill McMullen and Carly (McMullen) D'Orazio and her husband, Matthew; and sadly missed by his niece and nephew, Bronwen and Liam; Ryan has a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Tuesday evening, May 31, 2011, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday, June 1, 2011, from 8:15 am to 9:15 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St Jude Church, 325 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
