Mary L. Sauerwald Boyer, of Richboro, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Abington Memorial Hospital.
She was 73.

She was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Harry L. Boyer. Born in Philadelphia, Mary was the daughter of the late Henry and Anne Keogh Sauerwald and mother of the late Steven Boyer.

Mary was a resident of Richboro for the past 40 years. She was a graduate of Little Flowers High School for Girls in Philadelphia and has been faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Richboro.

Mary worked along side her late husband for 35 years, as the office manager of Boyer Heating and Air-Conditioning, Inc, she retired in 2005. She and her husband enjoyed boating especially at the Jersey shore and in Maryland. Mary focused her love and affection on her children and especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family and friends.

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses; Karen A. Pontarelli and her husband Brian, Christopher H. Boyer and Linda M. Griffin and her husband Clayton she is also survived by her brother John Sauerwald and her 4 sisters; Margaret Daly, Nancy Halsey, Barbara Owens, Therese Heaton and 5 devoted grandchildren; Marissa, Isabella, Julia, Thaddeus and Shea.

Mary’s family will receive condolences on Saturday May 28, 2011, from 9:00 am until her Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
