Raymond W. Luff
Raymond W. Lauff of New Britain died peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2011, surrounded by his family at Doylestown Hospital. He was 91.
He was the beloved husband of Eva L. Schneider Lauff for 49 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Haitsch Lauff and was pre-deceased by one sister and three brothers.
Mr. Lauff was a resident of New Britain for the past 5 years and formerly lived in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia for 10 years. He was a graduate of Frankford High School in Philadelphia, January Class of 1938. Raymond was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He later received his bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Before his retirement in 1984, Mr. Lauff was employed as a millwright for 42 years with Budd Company in Philadelphia. He enjoyed collecting Lionel trains, various stamps and coins. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He will be sadly missed as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to SPCA of Bucks County, P.O. 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
