Mendy Sue Faust Fort, of Chalfont, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. She was 57.

She was the beloved wife of J. Kenneth “Ken” Fort. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Anna May Ingham Faust and the late Thomas E. Faust.

Mendy was a resident of Chalfont for the past16 years. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Hamilton, New Jersey, and class of 1975 and attended Baptist Bible College, Clarke Summit, Pennsylvania.

Mendy was an accomplished pianist and violin player. She was a very active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Buckingham, where she directed the Children’s choir, and on many occasions played the piano and violin.

Family and friends came first and foremost with Mendy, her love and support to her family was to be admired. She will be sadly missed by all those who came to know and love her.

In addition to her beloved husband and mother, she is also survived by her devoted children and their spouses; Leigh Ellen Graf and her husband Greg, Jessie Sue Myers and her husband Kirk, Kenneth Earl Faust Fort and his wife Megan and Nathan J. Fort and his wife Kelli; and her four dear grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Doughty and her husband Tom.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00am in Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2622 Durham Road, Buckingham, PA 18912.

Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
